The club run by 31 year old Mickey Bradshaw from Sherburn in Elmet, has been up and running for a few months and is proving very popular. Mickey, a former soldier started the club after reading on local websites that the teenagers have nothing to do on an evening. Mickey has already spent over £600 on equipment from his own pocket and is doing the classes to benefit the kids and give them something active to do, obesity is a big problem in children these days and boxing can help with weight loss along with a controlled diet as well as teaching new life skills, discipline, stamina, balance, awareness & fitness.
